Echeveria is a rosette-shaped succulent known for its peculiar, symmetrical leaf arrangements.

Plant Requirement:

Soil: Soil should be well-drained, porous, and bread crumb textured. Avoid clay and fine-textured soils.

Water: Echeveria doesn't like watered often. DON'T water it on the leaves or in a rosette. Put water underneath at the stem or dip pot in a bowl of water in order to wet media through the drainage hole by capillary movement. Drain out the excess water. Keep soil touch to dry in between two water cycles.

Water it carefully during the rainy and winter season. If the plant is underwatered upper leaves looks weathered, the over-watered plants bear yellowish older leaves.

Climate: Echeveria is sun-loving plants. It requires an ample amount of sunlight for good growth and development. If the plant is kept under the shade it grows thin and lanky. Keep plants under dry and clean spaces.

Garden Use: Echeverias mostly used as pot plants or to make terrariums, and miniature gardens.

Care and Maintenance:

Nutrition: It is a poor feeder, it doesn't require any special nutrition schedule to follow.

Protection: Abiotic stress can be managed by good water management. It doesn't attract any pests and diseases.

Horticulture Operations: Remove old, dried leaves from the bottom. Repot once in a year with fresh cactus and succulent potting mix. Provide a drainage hole to the pot.
