Adenium obesum
Product Description: Available in a 7-inch black pot. Adenium bushes have thick stems and fleshy branches. Their foliage is generally oval-shaped and varies in size (2-7 inches). These plants commonly grow outdoors, however, when they are young, they can be seen within an indoor area. The pink flower of the plant appears for a couple of weeks in spring. |
Plant Requirement Soil: Soil should be well-drained, rich in organic matter but free from any un-decomposed manure. Water: Adenium is called Desert Rose as it requires very less amount of water to grow. Avoid overwatering as it may lead to decomposition of roots and stem. Climate: It is a sun-loving plant but it can also withstand partial sunlight. |
Garden Uses: Adenium can be grown as a specimen plant or you can have flower beds of single or mixed color. It has plenty of colors and flower types. |
Care and Maintenace: Well-Decomposed manure thoroughly mixed in the soil plus a mixture of bricks/ sand and charcoal give good growth and helps in keeping the plant well-drained in and around its root zone. |
