Syngonium is an evergreen, fast growing, easy and strong plant.
Soil: Soil should be well drained, rich in organic matter, and good water holding capacity. It grows well in nutrient rich soils but avoid clay or black soil. The ideal pH is 6.5 to 7
Water: Syngonium is water loving plant, Keep it hydrated with ample water. Spraying water in dry and hot summer will help in maintaining leaf health.
Climate: Syngonium grows well under semi-shade condition. Avoid direct sunlight, dry winds, and full shade condition. It grows well in temperature range from 18 degrees Celcius to 32 degrees Celcius. The ideal air humidity is 60 to 85 %
Garden Use: Syngonium is mostly used a pot plant or to grow underneath trees.
Care and Maintenance:
Nutrition: Syngonium is moderate to heavy feeder plant. It responds very well to manuring.
Protection: White woolly aphids are common feeders, other than it mites and sucking pests are common pests of Syngonium. Keep it away by wiping out both sides of leaves with wet cotton. Syngonium bears aerial roots, which are susceptible to soil compaction and over-watering.
Horticulture Operations: Clean leaves weekly. Hydrate with barber spray during hot summer season
